How much does it cost to rent storage at Geymt?
The lowest monthly rate is 8,394 kr. for a 1 m² unit at Stálhella when 12 months are paid upfront. The total payment is 100,728 kr. The price depends on location, unit size, and rental term.
Can I rent storage for a longer period?
Yes. You can choose a flexible monthly lease or a fixed 6- or 12-month contract with a discount. Once the contract term ends, you can renew the lease. You can also request a larger or smaller unit, subject to availability.
Can the rental price change during the lease term?
The price stays the same for the full contract term when 6 or 12 months are paid upfront. Monthly leases and other contracts not paid upfront are index-linked and may change in line with the building cost index.
When do I have access to my storage unit?
Miðhraun 4 (Garðabær): 24/7 access
Stálhella 14 (Hafnarfjörður): Access daily 09:00-21:00

Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes. The minimum rental period is one month. You can choose a monthly lease with one month's notice, or a fixed 6- or 12-month contract paid upfront that comes with a discount.
