How much does it cost to rent a storage unit at Geymt?
Units start from 6,995 kr per month (1 m² at Stálhella with a 12-month prepaid agreement). Pricing depends on location, unit size, and rental term. Longer prepaid rental periods offer lower monthly rates and lock in your price for the prepaid term.
Can I rent a storage unit long-term
Yes, most of our customers store with us for months or years at a time. We offer both flexible month-to-month rentals and discounted long-term agreements. You can extend your rental at any time, and unit sizes can be adjusted as your storage needs change.
Can rental prices change over time?
Prepaid rental agreements keep the same monthly price for the prepaid period.
Month-to-month rentals and non-prepaid long-term agreements are index-linked and may adjust over time in line with the Icelandic housing cost index (byggingarvísitala).

Yes. The minimum rental period is 30 days. Both short-term and long-term rentals are available.
